Laser Pigment Remediation
Pigment Correction works through a series of three filters and concentrates the light within a narrow range. During the procedure, controlled waves of pulsed light energy are delivered deep within the skin tissue to damage the vessels or pigmented spots. The resulting heat causes the blood to coagulate and the veins to collapse in on themselves, ultimately causing them to be reabsorbed by the body over time. Since the wavelengths only target the melanin in pigmented lesions or blood vessels, the surrounding skin remains intact, allowing for minimal discomfort and less downtime than most traditional methods. The Pigment Correction treatment also works to rejuvenate the skin by reducing discoloration, softening lines and targeting sun damage.
