Our Team
L Jamison Stewart was raised in South Carolina in a family with two physicians as parents. He never had any doubt that his career would follow a medical path.
Jamison received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University in Jackson, TN in 2010. After his undergrad, Jamison was a traveling nurse, practicing in 10 different hospitals located in 6 separate states. During this time, Jamison’s nursing career primarily centered around cardiology; however, he also worked in the surgical, orthopedic and aesthetic specialties. Jamison attended Purdue University Global receiving his Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in primary care in 2020. He is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Jamison, along with his mother, Dr. Susan VanEpps, opened Nouveau Dermé Aesthetic Centre in 2021. Jamison’s favorite part of aesthetic medicine is when clients experience the “wow moment” after they see the results they desired.
Jamison thoroughly enjoys speaking with his clients about all aspects. “There are many variables that influence a client’s appearance; their lifestyle, emotional state, and unique life experiences. Each of these factors must be considered when discussing treatment options. There exists no one-size-fits-all when planning aesthetic treatment.”
Jamison shares this home with his longtime girlfriend, Dawn Moore, and his chihuahua, Pudge.
Dawn was born and raised in Southeastern Indiana where she received her certificate as a practical nurse at IVY Tech Community College in Richmond Indiana.

She went on to practice as an LPN in multiple settings finally settling into her favorite area in outpatient family medicine. She advanced from clinical work into management and continued her education at Indiana University Richmond and Indiana University / Purdue University Indianapolis earning a certification as a Certified Healthcare Manager. From there she became board certified through the American College of Medical Practice Executives as a Certified Medical Practice Executive. Dawn practiced for 15 years as the director of Primary Care for two Indiana based hospitals and a Rural Health Clinic.
Dawn relocated to Myrtle Beach in early 2021 to become co-owner of Nouveau Derme Aesthetic Centre with her long-time boyfriend L. Jamison Stewart.

Dawn’s passion is animal rescue. She founded Moore Love Rescue and was the President of it for 10 years in Indiana rescuing over 3000 dogs and cats. She also created and ran a low-cost community spay/neuter program. In the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill in New Orleans in 2010 Dawn’s organization received a grant from PetSmart Charities and purchased and retrofitted a school bus as a large-scale rescue and transport for animals displaced due to the disaster. She and a team of volunteers and friends went to New Orleans and rescued 104 animals and brought them back to the Midwest and rehomed them with the help of various rescues throughout the Midwest states. Dawn is not currently involved in animal rescue but hopes to foster for a local shelter in the future. She currently shares a home with Jamison and her rescued chihuahua, Pudge, who is 16 years old!

Pudge (formerly known as Rainey) is arguably the most important member of the Nouveau Dermé staff! 16-year-old Pudge was adopted by Jamison and Dawn in the summer of 2021 from Low Country Animal Rescue in Ladson SC. She can be found napping on the bed of her “on call” room (under Dawn’s desk) and is available for comfort and cuteness daily free of charge! She has only 2 focuses for life, food, and snuggling. She is by far the most requested service offered at Nouveau Dermé.
